Iryar's Fall

A dilapidated watchtower on a cliff overlooking Lake Aede, Iryar's Fall is so named for the defeat of Iryar by the forces of Kain in 812. The tower is 50 feet tall. The wooden roof had collapsed; moss grows over the stones, and the shutters on the window were gone, either decayed or blown off by the wind. Rags remained of the flags and standards. Before the arrival of the Disciples of Dreth'dor, the door had fallen off the hinges and was nailed sideways to the frame, right into the stone wall. After the Disciples left, a load-bearing support pillar was knocked out and the internal structure of the tower collapsed. The remains were set aflame. The stone exterior still stands.

In 956 GD, Gavric forces began reconstruction of the tower.
